CrossKIDZ strives to know Jesus better!

Yes, Kid’s Church is fun—but it’s so much more than just childcare. Our incredible team is passionate about helping your child engage in worship and teaching that makes the Bible come alive. Each week includes an exciting Bible story centered around a “Big Idea,” a “Memory Verse,” and interactive activities.

Our goal is for your kids to discover who God is and how deeply He loves them. At CrossKidz, we want to create a space where children learn at their level in a way that’s both exciting and meaningful.

We are family centered.

At The Cross Church we love to be able to provide a unique space for your family to meet and worship Jesus. We want for you to be able to learn without worries while you are in the sanctuary so we have an amazing kids church that is tailored for your child to feel welcomed and to learn about to hear the story of God, and to worship Him.

What to Expect?

When you arrive at church, you will be directed to our check in station for the CrossKidz ministry. One of our team will meet your family, check your child into our database system, and then lead your to their age-appropriate room (nursery to 5th grade)

Safety of your child is our number one priority, we only have team members who have been through a thorough background check. We will ask you for the following personal information: family members’ names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.

Our volunteers

We want them to walk out experiencing that unconditional kind of love from our volunteers.

Kids ministry worship is always fun and the Bible lessons are age appropriate and have lots of help from our volunteers who are passionate about teaching kids about Jesus!
We aim to keep the children physically, spiritually, and emotionally safe.
We offer CrossKidz for your children aged from nursery all the way up to 5th grade.

CHECK IN & SAFETY INFORMATION

To maintain an environment of worship and learning, we ask that children under the age of 11 be checked into a classroom or in order to keep an atmosphere in the sanctuary free from distractions, we ask that they sit with their family in the upper section of our sanctuary.

Children can be checked in 15 minutes prior to service.

OUR VOLUNTEER TRAINING AND SCREENING

Every CrossKids Ministry Volunteer goes through the following screening process and must meet these requirement to serve with CrossKids ministry team .

Fill out a Ministry Application which asks for general information, beliefs, references and background information.
We use Protect My Ministry (www.protectmyministry.com) for the following background checks
- National Sex Offender Search
- National Criminal Database Search
- SSN Verification and Address History
No applicant is permitted to serve with children if they have ever been arrested or convicted for child abuse.
