Born in Florida, but raised in the northeast, Greg graduated from Furman University and then spent 15 years working around the world as a professional model. After living a couple of years in Paris, France and working all around Europe, Greg moved back to NYC to be represented by the Ford Modeling agency to do work that appeared in various catalogues, magazines and advertisements. In 1992, after a incredibly humbling moment in his life, Greg, while in town on a shoot in south beach, truly committed his life to Christ at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale. Later, while Greg was in Munich, Germany on a modeling shoot and at the same time trying to set up bible studies for models, Greg met his beautiful south African bride, and also a model, Ashleigh, who also had a similar passion for Jesus. That began their journey in life and ministry together.
In 1998, Greg and Ashleigh had moved to Florida from NYC and joined the staff at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale under Pastor Bob Coy. During his 15 years with Calvary Fort Lauderdale, he held a variety of positions including the ‘whatever needed’ guy, parking setup, new believers overseer, Singles pastor, youth pastor, college and young adult pastor, and campus pastor.
In the summer of 2014, Greg, along with his wife Ashleigh and a group of incredible couples and families stepped out in faith and started the church plant called the cross church. The cross began in a small dance studio and has since moved to its current location at Highland Oaks middle school, just a mile or so from where Greg was born.
