Project Joy is our Outreach to bring some joy to those in need throughout this holiday season and beyond.
List of Items to Donate
Please bring canned beans, canned corn, boxed potatoes or real potatoes, cranberry sauce, gravy, stuffing, olives, dinner rolls, canned yams, cream of mushroom soup, french onions, assorted chocolates, pies, and any other item that would help make a thanksgiving meal a tasty one.
We also invite you to donate a gift card from a supermarket that can be given to families, so they can buy a turkey for their thanksgiving meal. A gas card would be much appreciated as well!
As Jesus said, ‘It is more blessed to give then receive, so not only are we bringing Joy to others, but end up blessed with some extra joy in the process.
Part of our vision of the church is to help the poor, so we will be going into neighborhoods near our church to find those that have needs and we will be helping those that are hurting, poor, and in need. Friday, November 16th is the last day to drop off food for the thanksgiving outreach.
On Saturday, November 17th @ 8am. We will be gathering at the school to deliver our thanksgiving food donations to those families in need. This is always a time where you will be more blessed than the families that end up receiving the thanksgiving meals!
