Important Corona Virus Update At The Cross Church-CHURCH WILL BE ONLINE THIS SUNDAY!

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ Isaiah 41:10

Hi Cross Family,

We hope this email finds you and your family doing well and staying healthy.

The Corona Virus, or COVID-19, has certainly changed our world and the way we are doing everyday life. The information and updates about the virus seem to change by the minute.

Thankfully, this virus does not have the power to change who God is, or His promises in His Word, the bible. We can gain strength and peace from our God of peace during this time as we look into His promises.

CHURCH IS ONLINE THIS SUNDAY!

As you probably know, President Trump declared a National state of emergency today due to the COVID-19. We also found out today that Miami Dade County School board is closing down the Highland Oaks School beginning next week, so we have made the decision to have CHURCH ONLINE THIS SUNDAY at our regular time of 10:30 am. That means we will not be meeting at the school for church this Sunday. We will only have church online for at least the next two weeks.

We know this virus is a threat, so we want to make sure that the health and well-being of you and your family comes first. This sacrifice of our time together is just for a season and allows us to show our love for one another by our care and concern for one another. This is not a reaction of fear, but a reaction of love as we work together to take responsibility to protect those around us.

SUNDAY’S MESSAGE
This Sunday I will take a pause in our Explore God series. I will be sharing a message of hope and peace as we walk this journey of faith during this time of crisis. I look forward to our time together online!
This will be a great opportunity to spend some time with your family watching the service together.
It’s a great time to send the link to your friends and neighbors so they can be encouraged by God’s word.

We can grow together online this Sunday at 10:30am.

PRAYER
You may have heard that President Trump declared Sunday, March 15th a National day of prayer. We will pray together online for our nation, our leadership, and all of those who have contracted the virus. Please Let us know if you have a prayer request that we can pray for you for during this Sunday and the coming week. You can fill out the prayer request at the link below.

PEACE
We realize that the spread of this virus has caused a great deal of fear and anxiety. We will always find comfort and strength in God’s Word. In the midst of all of the news, please continue to look to our God and His Word.

“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You”. (Isaiah 26:3)

Remember that we are encouraged to “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).

Our prayer is that you will find peace and comfort as we trust our Heavenly Father for His guidance and protection. We will continue to work together to serve our church and our community in a way that demonstrates our deep faith in our God.

We will continue to provide necessary updates to you via email and on our website.

Please continue to pray for our community, nation, and our entire world during this crucial time.

We will see you online on Sunday!

May our great God and Savior, our Lord Jesus, Bless and Keep you,

For Jesus,

Greg-
