Ashleigh, of course, was my beautiful bride of 22 years. She had an incredible impact on many lives and discipled many women who now attend the cross. We will miss her deeply, but her spirit and vision will live on in all that we do at the cross.
In case you missed the memorial service, we have included that below as well as some videos giving you a glimpse into Ashleigh’s life. I wanted anyone who didn’t get the blessing of knowing ashleigh to get a small picture of just how incredible she was to not only me, but to many others.
The first is the video for Ashleigh’s memorial. It was a powerful service that displayed the passionate love Ashleigh had for Jesus, for me (her husband) and for making disciples. Thank you to all of you who came out, wrote cards, emails, posts, prayed, encouraged and supported me during this time. Thanks to the guys in the video department at Calvary FTL who made the video possible. It was a day that brought God glory and truly honored my wife.
The Second video is of how she grew to know God through a bible study He laid on her heart 15 years ago. This is followed by another video of how she applied that teaching to disciple women. The last video is just a fun one from our time in Mexico where she was receiving alternative treatment.
These videos will help you see why Ashleigh’s beauty was not just on the outside, but that beauty flowed even more so from within. I pray that like me, you will be forever impacted by the life ashleigh led. She was the best of the best. Her life and legacy will live on through the lives she impacted that now attend the cross. I will miss her with all my being, but I know she is dancing in heaven, praising Jesus with a whole new, healthy body.
Thanks for taking the time to find out why Ashleigh was so special.
