I’m really sorry to say that my beautiful bride went home to be with Jesus early this morning. As many of you know, Ashleigh was battling cancer for the last 4 1/2 years. She was a courageous, Faithfilled warrior in this battle, continually ministering to so many while enduring great pain.
Our love for each other was immense so this is obviously the most painful time of my life. God brought me ash as a gift to bless me with 22 years of an incredible marriage and a best friend. I am the man today because of Jesus and the encouragement and love of my wife. I have never been loved more by anyone than by my wife ashleigh.
God broke the mold when He made ash. I will miss her with all my being.
Thank you to all of you who have been praying with us and supporting us in the midst of our journey. Ashleigh so appreciated your love, support and faith in believing God for a miracle. As disappointing as it is for God to choose to bring her home, I will always believe that nothing is impossible for our God. Ashleigh is now in heaven, where the streets are paved with gold, with a whole new body that has no more pain or suffering. She is probably praising and dancing before her king and Lord Jesus with all of our family and friends who preceded her right now.
She loved the cross church and was so excited about what God was doing there. I would have loved to have her there this weekend, worshipping up front, to celebrate our first week at the new building, but God chose that we will celebrate her first.
We will be having a memorial celebration of her life on Saturday, October 4th at 11am at Calvary Chapel Plantation, 11801 W Broward Blvd, Plantation, FL.
