Ashleigh Howard Memorial Service link

In case you missed it, here is the video for Ashleigh’s memorial.  It was a powerful service that displayed the passionate love Ashleigh had for Jesus, for me (her husband) and for making disciples.  She is irreplaceable in my life so this will be an incredibly hard season. We will miss her, but her spirit and vision will live on in all that we do at the cross. Thank you to all of you who came out, wrote cards, emails, posts, prayed, encouraged and supported me during this time. Thanks to the guys in the video department at Calvary FTL who made the video possible. It was a day that brought God glory and truly honored my wife.

I pray you will be forever impacted by the life ashleigh led. She was the best of the best. I will miss her with all my being, but I know she is dancing in heaven, praising Jesus with a whole new, healthy body.

Absolutely powerful message, worship and praise of an incredible follower of Jesus! Thank You Jesus for Ashleigh and Greg and all those who they have discipled over the years. We pray for you Greg, brother, that you will continue to feel the love of Jesus Christ as you grieve and even rejoice as the days go by, until we all will join Ashleigh in Heaven with Jesus. Greg, thank you for sharing this beautiful tribute to your Asnhleigh. She loved Jesus and you with her whole heart. I didn’t know her well, but I loved what I saw in her walk with the Lord. The one thing I remember about our conversation is she said she could not imagine life without you, and she hoped God would take her first. Although this time of separation is so difficult, you have the assurance that you will be together again with Jesus. You will be in my prayers.

    Dear Greg,
Thank you for sharing this, I never met Ashleigh, but feel as if I knew her! What a beautiful spirit and witness her life was, and is! She was so very pretty! I pray for you, as you are adjusting to life without her. When you feel lonely and miss her, know that Jesus will be right there, to comfort and to love you like nobody else can! Grieving can be really tough, however it also presents an opportunity to surrender completely to the Lord, because nothing else will do – alone in your room, with just HIM and you, how special that is! I pray that you receive comfort and much love at this time! I went to Models for Christ briefly in the late 80’s in NYC – great people – and ever once in a while some from that time appear in my life in various areas. God has purposed you and Ashley for a powerful ministry, which will live on – I intend to show her memorial service to friends as a ministering tool of a beautiful life – well lived, her spirit will live on, and not be forgotten, it will be speaking to people she never even met – how glorious it will be to meet her in heaven and to give her a big hug! Gerda K.

Thank you so very much for sharing. I pray for your continued comfort. I am sorry for your loss in flesh of Ashleigh who will be with you forever in spirit. Ashleigh touched my life while I was caretaker for Barbara at Oasis November 2013. I am so grateful to have known her and touched by her praying spirit.

I just wanted you to know that you and Ashleigh have been on my heart. I was thinking about Ashleigh lately and how influential she was in my early walk with Christ. Today I watched her memorial service and was in awe. It was the most beautiful tribute I have ever seen for one of the most amazing people I have ever met. I pray that I can be half the disciple, wife, and friend that Ashleigh was. I know you know how incredibly blessed you are to have been her husband. I have truly never met anyone like her and she changed my life forever. I will be forever grateful for her teachings, leadership, friendship, mentorship, grace, and passion for the Lord. I pray that God continues to bless you and your new church. Please know that we continue to pray for you and miss you both very much.
