COME SEE US!
THE CROSS CHURCH Mission is
"TO MAKE AND EQUIP AUTHENTIC DISCIPLES
WHO KNOW AND LOVE JESUS AND WHO ARE KNOWN FOR THEIR LOVE."
We are a group of sinners saved by Grace, who want to honor our Lord Jesus Christ, displaying our love for one another while we grow in our Christian walk.
We believe the Word of God is the key to our growth, so Pastor Greg will teach it verse by verse, and chapter by chapter.
We’ve put together some information here that anticipates and tries to briefly answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting our church for the first time:
OUR COVID PROTOCOL FOR YOUR SAFETY
Your safety is a priority to us, so we have a few things that we have put into place. We have a cleaning service every week that does a thorough cleaning, mopping, and wiping down of the property. We have also purchased a specific sprayer that sprays a non-toxic mist of Pureox over all of our usage areas. Purerox is a proven, proprietary technology that is being used in US hospitals and doctor's offices. Many disinfectants on the market are toxic and require the surface to be wet for up to 10 minutes to kill viruses. Purerox™ disinfectant is 100% safe and can easily be applied by anyone, and is on the EPA List N for use against Covid-19 and other pathogens. You will not find a safer, quicker, or more cost effective system for disinfecting your building. This spray kills any virus, including the COVID virus, within 60 seconds.
We also have plenty of hand sanitizing stations around our property for your use.
Facemasks AND SPACE IN THE SANCTUARY
We are currently not enforcing the use of facemasks. As you may know, our Governor of Florida recently removed the mask mandate from businesses. We have seen a wide range of medical opinions on the use of facemasks, so we are trusting each individual to make decisions that they believe are best for them.
The sanctuary is large and provides us with plenty of space for any social distancing necessary. We have placed distance between rows, and will place an empty space between families when necessary. You are welcome to sit close to your friends. We want you to enjoy your time at church, so please feel the freedom to move your chair, or move around to where you feel most comfortable.
We will also have green, yellow and red smiley stickers available for you to help others be aware of your comfort level for greetings and seating. The green stickers are for those that are more comfortable and would not mind handshakes and hugs. The yellow stickers are for those that prefer fist pumps and elbow bumps. The red smiley stickers would be for those who want to be more cautious, find themselves in a high-risk category, and prefer the non-contact greeting. We want to do our best to honor everyone in whatever place you may be. There is no right or wrong sticker!
WHAT YOU CAN DO
As you know, no matter how much cleaning or spraying one does, you take a risk of catching any virus, cold, flu, and the COVID virus when you enter into any public place like Publix, Walmart, malls, restaurants, or church. COVID is a contagious virus so we encourage you to first pray and ask God for His protection over you and your family. We also encourage you to wash your hands, use hand sanitizer when needed and try to build up your immune system with a daily dose of vitamin C, Garlic, Zinc, Vitamin D3, NAC, and Quercitin. This protocol may help your body combat any possible cold, flu, or virus. Please take every precaution that you feel is wise for your family. Read up on all of the news and information about what products are out there that can help you combat the COVID virus. We want everyone to stay healthy and safe. Of course, if you don’t feel comfortable being in crowds or you or your family have any symptoms from COVID or like that of a cold or flu, we invite you to watch the service online.
